c. Trapped moisture due to finishing the plasters and/or painting the walls before they are thoroughly dry,
d. Micro-settlement of the building due to soft subsoil,
e. Thermal insulation materials that were plastered without following the necessary procedure for plastering on them,
f. Vibrations due to the intervention of impact machines or other causes within or near the building,
g. Plastering defects
h. Expansion of large surfaces of the building from high temperatures, especially when no insulation is used.

They are delivered either packaged in bags of a specific weight or in bulk in silos, always accompanied by a weighing scale.

A silo can usually be placed directly in the area indicated by the project engineer, after this area has been previously inspected by a specialized INTERMIX technician.

Silos can be placed at points on the project that can withstand a load of at least 30 tons/silo on an outdoor area for each silo of at least 2.5 meters X 2.5 meters, free in height up to at least 7 meters, easily accessible by a four-axle truck. The project must also have water and three-phase electricity so that the silo mixer can be connected and operated.

Silos can be placed in projects of any size, from small single-family homes or their extensions, to large apartment complexes or commercial buildings.

INTERMIX can take it back and credit the customer for its value. The condition for this to apply is that the material in the silo is in good condition and the silo has enough material to be transported by a four-axle vehicle without being overweight.

INTERMIX Ready-Mix Dry Mortars give a very good final finished surface, which is significantly superior to the corresponding surface given by conventional mortars. The surface can either be painted directly (if it has been well sanded), or be troweled first and then painted (if the sanding was not so good).

INTERMIX Ready-Mix Dry Mortars are superior to gypsum plaster due to their resistance to moisture (the same materials are also used for bathrooms, kitchens, basements and exterior surfaces where gypsum plaster is avoided) and due to their very good final surface, with a little sanding and a light troweling they give a completely smooth surface. Good teams can, with diligence in sanding the finish, achieve a final surface that is similar to that of gypsum plaster without troweling, leaving the troweling before painting to the discretion of the project owner.

INTERMIX plasters have much better water-repellent properties than those of conventional plasters, so that after painting them (which is necessary anyway and so that they do not get dirty easily) they offer the necessary protection for the building, increasing its lifespan. The thermal insulation properties of INTERMIX plasters are much better than those of conventional plasters due to the higher percentage of air content in them and are stable, since they are industrially produced products. However, they do not replace the performance of other exclusively thermal insulation materials.

Air transport is a smart mechanical way of transporting INTERMIX Ready-Mix Dry Mortars (usually building mortars) from silos to the workstations of their application teams on any floor of the building. With the air transport method, the mortars are transported in dry form to the application point and mixed on site with the required amount of water.
