EPD

Environmental Product Declaration

Titan is responding to the challenges of climate change, having signed commitments to reduce the carbon footprint of its facilities and the products it offers.

Already, since 2021, it has completed the calculation of the full Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), according to ISO 14040 and the EN 15804 directive, for all types of cement produced in Greece, while at the same time developing an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for each individual cement product at the factory level, as well as for most types of commercial concrete, while in 2022 it becomes the first Greek company in the building materials sector to publish Environmental Product Declarations for all of its products, now cement, mortars, aggregates and concrete, based on the international standards EN 15804 and ISO 14025.

EPDs signal the excellence of Titan's products and production process, providing customers with the information they need for sustainable manufacturing.

They are published on the widely used platform, International EPD System, and through this specific program, any interested party (industry professional or citizen) can have access to the environmental performance data sheets of the products.

Environmental Declarations constitute the green passport of the products that TITAN offers on the Greek market, documenting their environmental performance and assisting in the selection of the best solutions for projects with bioclimatic design that aim for certifications from the most important international building ecosystems (e.g. LEED, BREEAM).

TITAN places great emphasis on informing and promoting the importance of EPDs throughout the construction industry value chain and particularly among its partners and customers.
