Health and Safety

Above all, Health and Safety

Following the TITAN Group's Occupational Health and Safety strategy, at INTERMIX, we have methodically strengthened accident prevention and health promotion systems across the entire spectrum of our activities, focusing on a safer working environment for our employees, contractors and partners.

We place particular emphasis on certification, inspection, Health and Safety training, as well as incident investigation processes that play an important role in reducing workplace risks and improving safety behavior.

Our facilities, behaviors and processes are monitored on an ongoing basis. Every incident, accident or near miss is investigated through root cause analysis, using methods such as the cause tree and the five “whys” (5 Whys). Based on the conclusions drawn regarding the root causes, targeted measures are taken, with the ultimate goal of preventing the recurrence of similar incidents in the future.

Basic Safety Rules

We adhere to Basic Health and Safety Rules and avoid injuries, accidents and adverse events.

Education and Road Safety

Driving safely means driving defensively. It means going from home to work or returning home from work every day to see my family and enjoy my personal life.

At INTERMIX, we have a large fleet of cooperating carriers, which pushes us to give great importance to issues related to road safety, both for our carriers and for all those affected by our activities.
That's why:

  • We have integrated Road Safety into the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • We train drivers who perform transportation work in defensive driving issues to ensure that they follow correct practices that will reduce the likelihood of their involvement in a traffic accident.
  • We conduct inspections focused on road safety to determine the degree of compliance of drivers with the legislation and safety rules that we have set.
  • We record and investigate every traffic incident. We implement corrective actions to prevent a similar incident from happening again in the future.
  • We set strict rules before starting our collaboration with carriers to ensure that they can meet our requirements on road safety issues.
  • Our ongoing goal is to create a coherent road safety culture among all of our employees and partners-contractors, and to define specific road safety rules inside and outside our units, in order to ensure their safe operation and the smooth execution of transport operations.
